This Week’s Freedom Report

As I mentioned before, I have a regular feature, The Freedom Report, on The Global Current, a weekly international news show on WSOU 89.5.

This week I’ll be discussing the “Buy American” provision in the stimulus package and the danger it poses to international trade.

An added bonus, I will also be a part of the In Focus section, talking with Noah Rothman about Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner’s comments suggesting the Chinese are manipulating their currency.

SHUSIL on the Radio

I wrote several weeks ago about my appearance on The Global Current. Days before the election I was on again, along with representatives of the College Democrats, College Republicans, and Young Socialists. For those of you that missed that live roundtable, here’s the video footage:

Overall I thought it went pretty well, although I think it could have been a bit more lightly moderated so there was more interaction. It also didn’t help that there were four of us and only a half hour for the show.

Global Current

Hopefully you all read about (and listened to) my interview on the Global Current the Saturday before last. Anyhow, the second part of the series should be available for download from iTunes now, this one featured an interview with the president of the Seton Hall College Democrats.

I’d love for thoughts on the comparison between our answers for anyone who’s able to listen. I’ll throw up further updates after the next two interviews (the Socialists and the College Republicans respectively.
